Being a University student with 9am starts and a massive lover of sleep, I would rather the extra 10 minutes in bed. So I have come up with a 5 minute face that gives me a 'natural awake' look. I wish I could just paint eyes on my eyelids and sleep in lectures, but I can't...
Firstly, I use Clinique's three step system which wakes me up a treat. Grabbing my benefit boi ing, I dab it on with my finger under my baggy eyes and onto any spots I may have woken up with; no time to use a brush here people! Then, using my real techniques buffing brush, I buff my Bourjois healthy mix foundation onto my skin. It gives a really nice medium coverage finish to the skin with a slight glow to it as well. It's my go to foundation for the morning after a big night out!
When it comes to my cheeks, I always use my Elizabeth Arden Mineral Bronzing Powder as a contour which I apply with my real techniques contour brush. A light dusting of my MAC's Mineralise Skinfinish powder to highlight my cheeks and 'the base' is done.
Onto the brows, I use Benefit's browzings (there is a full review of that here). Then for my lashes I use Max Factor false lash effect in black brown. While I'm waiting for that coat to dry, I apply some Vaseline in my favourite flavour, cocoa butter. A quick coat of Benefit they're real and I'm ready!
My fellow students may spot me rummaging around my bag looking for a suitable lipstick in the lecture; usually this will by MAC's Creme Cup or Shy Girl. Both pretty neutral colours that I can apply without looking into a mirror when I should be taking notes.
