It's all about the nude lip this summer. This combination can be worn every day, to work and when you go out and your eyes are popping, you could wear it with that. I 'popped' into Boots for wipes and obviously came out with these two products (story of a beauty bloggers life) plus the wipes. Here is my go-to nude of the moment.
Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in Eastend Snob
I am in no way a lip liner girl. I have exactly 3 and this is because I'm never sure what colours to put them with. I need to go on a lip liner 101 course or something, seriously. But I spotted 'Eastend Snob' when I was searching for a nude liner as I do want to start wearing more (not good for the old debit card, is it?) plus I'm sure I've seen it floating around the blogosphere. I absolutely love it and have actually worn it daily since I purchased it. It is the perfect nude lip liner. There's no need to sharpen it as you just simply twist the bottom and the slant allows you to precisely apply it how you like. It's a pinky-nude, so not very pale and when I apply it I do draw around the outer part of my lips, to enhance them and make them look a little fuller without looking fake! They are rather thin! It glides onto your lips so easily as it's creamy and the staying power is brilliant. I will definitely be repurchasing this until I find a better nude liner. Plus it's only £3.99!
Revlon Colourburst Matt Balm in Elusive
This is my second matt colourburst and I absolutely love them. The can be subtle or you can build up the colour to make it bold. They are very moisturising and do not dry out your lips, even if you don't apply a lip balm before hand. The twist up crayon means there is no way I can smash or snap it (as I have with so many of my lipsticks). It's slightly darker then a baby pink nude which doesn't wash me out as some lighter pinks do. It's staying power is also good, I can apply it at 9am then on my lunch break at about 1pm, it'll only just be rubbing off and need re-applying. It's so pretty and £7.99
Together, they make a perfect nude. The colours compliment each other as the balm is a little darker then the liner. I absolutely love wearing this and recommend it for any skin type.
