Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer. Well that's a mouthful. I remember reading about this a few times so when I was in need of a lighter under eye concealer, I decided to invest in a new one. I've been using it for a few weeks now and this is my verdict.
For £17.50, I expect it to do all it claims and says on the tin. It supposedly gives you 'buildable, even coverage with a luminous, demi-matte finish'. So I usually apply two layers under my eyes and it does give a beautiful coverage. It blends beautifully and the application stick is great. I dab it to my skin and blend with either my ring finger, my Real Techniques stippling brush or my blender. Whatever is in reach, if not I will use my finger! From the name, you'd think this was real skin you're applying to cover up those naughty bags.
I've always wanted to try the Naked Skin Liquid Foundation, but I've heard this is similar with more coverage. The bottle looks similar and is very swanky looking and it clips shut when you close. I have the shade Medium Light, which is not too white as I do wear tan and a darker foundation so it always compliments my shade.
This concealer is impressive. It's light and creamy and sort of sinks in to the skin and really does cover my bags. It does dry to a luminous demi/ matte finish which is perfect for my slightly oily skin. I don't have many lines under my eyes (yet!) but I wanted to brighten and highlight under my eyes and this concealer is perfect.
I buff out the concealer and immediately, the concealer blends into the skin, brightening the area and no, it doesn’t settle into my fine lines. Do note though, I don’t have that many lines to begin with. It supposedly has goodness in it too for your skin. Japanese green tea which revitalises and helps reduce the appearance of lines and litchiderm (derived fro lychee fruit). The science and technical formulas go over my head but it was recommended by the assistant, I heard it's a knock out and it's travel friendly. All which I have found to be true.
What concealer do you use under your eyes? Or to brighten up a darker part of your face?
