Autumn is almost here (23rd to be exact) and I really like this season. Crunchy leaves, boots, high neck sweaters, dark eyes and lips and it gets chilly enough to put on your onesie. It's also the season where we notice the sun going down earlier and earlier. What I think is most beautiful is when the sun is setting and you're enjoying a glass of wine in your garden or outside a restaurant and the sun hits your face and you're glowing. You want your face to glow- right?! Today I'm talking about my favourite products to get that Autumn glow and get that Kimmy K glow on point.
Benefit High Beam- This highlighter is perfect for emphasises your cheek bones. It looks pink in the bottle but when you dot it from on your cheekbones under the middle of your eye towards your hairline and then blend it out with your finger. It creates a slivery-pink look that adds more depth then what bronzer alone would do.
Mac Soft & Gentle Highlighter- This is an alternative to a liquid highlighter. I use my Mac countering brush and apply it in the same place as my benefit high beam. I use this every day whereas I save my Benefit highlighter for going out. It's more subtle and creates a beautiful, light glowing finish. I have done a full review on this product here.
Urban Decay Virgin Eyeshadow- Virgin is possibly my favourite eyeshadow of all time. It's a beautiful pearly, pink colour with some shimmer too. I use this under my brow bones and in the corner of my eyes to brighten up my eye area so when that sunset hits me, my eyes will light up and look bigger.
L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer- When this is first applied you look like a disco ball. But after the rest of your makeup is applied, this primer leaves your face with a subtle, luminous, undertone glow. It's gorgeous.
Have you used any of these products? What are your favourites for getting that Autumn glow?
