We all swipe our cards or enter our pins and walk in with a goal in mind however sometimes we can be put off. I mean if I go to the gym straight from work, obviously I'll have a full face of makeup on, don't judge. But therefore I can't get ultra sweaty as my eyes will stream and I will look like a hot mess. Or if I get up at 7 for a session, I won't look pretty, so I'll need something to help me out. Here are my 'Gym Bag Beauty Essentials' that are perfected due to trial and many, many errors...
Any wipes. Throw a spare packet of cheap wipes into your bag and you'll thank me later. I can't count all the times where I wish I had a wipe handy to take my makeup off if I'm planning a sweaty session. Think about your pores opening releasing sweat only to be taking in foundation. Spots? No thank you.
If you've just woken up, you may want a light layer of something on your face to make you feel.. Human. Keep a small travel-sized bottle of moisturiser for you to slap on and wake up your face. Or if you've had a shower after your workout, apply some then to keep your skin hydrated and so you can walk out of the gym looking fresh. Tinted moisturisers are also a sneaky way to get some colour onto your face without caking yourself at the gym.
Without mascara, I don't look like myself. If I had to choose only one item of makeup to wear forever, it would be mascara. I do keep a little mascara
For dry lips. This is an essential for everyone in every bag. My lips go through phases of being dry for a day so keep one handy and avoid those chapped beauties.
Brush & Bobbles
This is common sense really. But I have forgotten a bobble so many times and it really does stop me from getting extra sweaty because I get too hot. I'm sure we've all had that problem...
