When I'm going out (with my best friend makeup), I like to feature a highlighter as the main attraction. Mainly because it's so pretty and I think it compliments my face. Before this I hadn't tried a cream highlighter before, just powdered and liquid so I'm comparing the quality and finish to those. I would love to try out some more cream highlighters after this one!

So I'm sure you've heard about this highlighter, the 'Topshop Glow Highlighter' which I purchased in 'Polished'. I decided to have a look at this one when I was in the Oxford Street Topshop as Sarah Ashcroft raves about it in all of her makeup tutorials. So I popped it into my rather big basket and tried it that night.

At the moment, I use my finger to apply it, pressing into the pot and dabbing it in a half-circle just above my cheek bones. Then I blend it out with my finger too. I also like to apply a dab on the tip of my nose and cupids bow, which again I use my finger. If I am using it in my inner corner or to highlight my brow bone, I use a small brush to apply and blend.

This highlighter works better for my then my other ones. When it catches the light, it looks amazing. You don't have to be afraid of hiding it under powder either as it still pops through. You only need a tiny bit on your finger and it's not glittery like other highlighters.

I think it suits everyone and is really affordable; a staple highlighter to have in your makeup bag for only £9? I think yes. It's available in store and online at Topshop.

Have you tried this highlighter? What's your favourite highlighter at the moment?
