April Favourites

A full month into Spring and I am loving the makeup vibes. Light pink cheeks and lips with any colour eye I fancy is so much fun. On that note, here are my April Favourites.

Nivea Daily Essentials Rich Regenerating Night Cream | £4.35

This moisturiser is very thick and I prefer a thick layer on my face just before I go to sleep so it has all night to sink in and work it's magic. In the morning, my skin feels soft, hydrated and not tired. It has the usual, subtle Nivea smell which I like and the product has lasted me a good few months already and I'm not even halfway through it.

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette | £23

I have reached for this palette nearly every time I have applied eyeshadow this month. The colours are neutral but there is a small variety which gives you the choice of many different combinations. The small mirror comes in handy when I'm staying over my boyfriends as I'm sure many of us have the problem of no adequate mirror except our own.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair | £4.19

After re-purchasing this concealer, I have fallen back in love. I use it under my eyes and down my nose and it makes me look 10x awake. It's so affordable and I never need to top it up.

Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Fixing Spray | £5

When I go out in the night, I like my makeup to stay put so I don't have to stuff my bag with every product I've used. This spray, although slightly sticky at first, works wonders, it five pounds and doesn't smell. This is actually the only setting spray I have used and would love to compare it to the Urban Decay one, but for now, this does the job well.

Collection Speedy Highlighter in Pearl Sheen | £3.99

A recent purchase of mine and has become a strong favourite. It's so simple to use, I've just been running it above my bronzer in an L shape down my cheeks and it doesn't require anything else. Except if you don't dig the harsh highlighter lines, you can buff it out with a brush, sponge or your finger.
