Tomorrow morning at 6am, I fly to Malta! While I was packing last week, I chose Marc Jacobs, Daisy Dream to come with me for the wedding... Plus it matched my bridesmaid dress... Ooh spoiler.
I received Daisy Dream for Christmas and it was a complete surprise. I have the original Daisy at home and I have to be honest, I'm not in love with it. To me, it smells a little alcoholic and too strong. I also have Lola (which is actually empty, but can you blame me for keeping the packaging, its gorgeous?!) So when I opened my Daisy Dream gift set, I was intrigued as I'd never bothered smelling it in store.
Daisy Dreams' scent is a fruity, floral fragrance inspired by daisies and blue skies. It's girly and I'd feel like it is a day time scent. It features top scents of blackberry, grapefruit and pear along with jasmine, lychee and blue wisteria and base notes of white woods, musks and coconut water; so many scents but it's not overpowering or to sickly. The packaging is my favourite out of all the Marc Jacobs perfume, it adds some blue to my collection which is definitely welcome with all the clear bottles I have.
I still have my signature scent, Chloe, but I love wearing this in the day and it's in my suitcase for Malta early tomorrow morning.
