The month of May has been mad. I've finished my second year of my degree, had a wedding in Malta and done a weeks work experience at a magazine. Of course I have had time to use some new and old products and pick out some of the best, so here are my May faves.
The Balm Bahama Mama | £14
A new purchase of mine is three of The Balm's products, one being Bahama Mama. I've heard all about it so I decided to try it out for myself. It's a brown, non-shimmer bronzer which is quite dark, so a little goes a long way or it's perfect when you have a tan (fake or real). The staying power is brilliant and I think it's priced just right, not to expensive nor cheap for what you're getting.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser & Toner | £10 / £9.50
I have had these two products for a while, so long that the packaging has changed. I recently picked them out of my skincare collection and I remember how good they are. After my makeup, the cleanser removes the excess away without my skin feeling dry or oily, even in the summer. The toner seems to calm down my face if I ever have any redness on it and like the cleanser, doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or oily.
No7 Lovely Lashes Mascara | £12.95
This was in the Bristol Fashion Weekend show goody bag. This mascara is very natural and doesn't clump up, as long as you apply it to bare lashes, it separates and lengthens them beautifully. I'd use this daily or when I'm just running errands, it's not heavy enough for a night out.
MAC 127 Split Fibre Face Brush | £28
The MAC 127 has been in my collection for a few years now and it is a very gentle brush, It is a little pricey, but it's worth it. I don't think any of the hairs have come out (at least I haven't noticed). I use it to apply blush mostly, but it can be used for cream products, highlighters or even bronzers. A real investment which has 100% paid off.
L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Made For Me in Nude Sensual Rose | £6.99
What a find, this was in the clearance section in Boots for £3 a few weeks ago! £3?! I had a smoothie today that cost more than that. Anyway, it's a subtle, sparkly pink that I bought for heavy eyes on holiday. Perfect for natural skin and blonde hair.
Do you love any of these products too?
