Happy September my
darlings! Hope you have all enjoyed the summer of 2016 and are making sure you
go out with a blast so you can look back and think, 'yeah, that was a good
summer'. Make a bonfire and toast marshmallows (I've done that twice this week-
perks of living by beaches) or have a BBQ the next sunny evening! Even if it’s
chilly, you can surround yourself and friends in blankets! There’s always
something to do to send your summer off with a bang.
Anyway, at the end of each
month, I love walking around my room and picking out the things I have been
reaching for the most all month. I have chosen five beauty items for you all to
lust over- enjoy!
I remember Desi Perkins raving about this a while back and
have seen it pop up on beauty gurus various social media here and there so
while on Amazon, I ordered one. It was just over £3, so even my little student
butt could afford it. I bought it to contour with and oh my gosh does it work.
I draw lines all over my face and blend with the Real Techniques Contour brush.
These are hyped up for a reason! They blend well and the colour is strong, I
will be ordering more!
This little product is a secret dream in a tube. It’s £5 and
once I’ve finished my brows, I outline the outer half with them to stand out/
look more defined. I have also been using this as a primer (I’m all out of UD
Primer Potion boohoo!) and it works rather well.
Basically, these are the best tweezers I have ever used. I
picked them up in Paris a fair few years ago but have noticed Sephora still do
tweezers, if you are ever near a Sephora, I would recommend picking up a few of
these. They can pull away all the unwanted hairs.
In Ibiza, I am always feeling bright lips. I did take Candy
Yum Yum by MAC, but I found myself grabbing Fuchsia Flash because it is so
moisturising. The colour is amazingly pigmented and lasts throughout a meal and
Well, no surprise this is in my favourites- you all must be
bored of me going on about how much I love this foundation and have been using
it daily all month. It’s my ultimate favourite and has been for years. It’s
dewy, easily buffed in, perfect colour and the formula is lights. All in all, I
can’t fault this foundation.
Well, I just noticed all my faves this month are drugstore
and affordable- I knew I’d teach myself to be a good student. Hope you enjoyed and
let me know if you’d like a full in-depth review on the L.A. Girl concealers,
I’d be happy to spread the love! Also, let me know what you’ve been loving this
