| Bag- River Island | Shoes- Miss Guided
I absolutely love weddings. Yup, I'm the typical, cliche gal who has dreamed of her wedding ever
since she was little. But for now (and the next 5+ years) I shall live my wedding dreams through all the weddings I will go to.
On the weekend, I went to a family wedding that we have all been waiting for for over a year. It did not disappoint. The whole day was actually perfect (except, the next day when I realised there was no cake- boo) and it was so lovely to see all my family in one room.
The dress I chose was from ASOS. I had been on the look out for a few months but didn't want to buy a dress that was too short/ shows a lot of skin because the wedding was on a pier and I didn't want to look back at the photos to clearly see my teeth were chattering. So I limited myself to the ASOS wedding shop- the guest section which is fabulous. It was between this dress and a floral suit. Yup, a suit. I've never worn a suit but I would 100% one day...
It is a bartdot off shoulder dress that I fell in love with when I tried it on. Although it was a little tight around my boobies ('un-proportional bodies' can I hear ya?!) but there was plenty of room around my waist to eat all the food. And you bet I did. What I particularly loved was the dipped hem, it allowed people to see my shoes and didn't make me look short.
I popped on a pair of Miss Guided heels and a River Island bag and felt like a princess for the day. If it took me months to find this dress, give my mother strength when it comes to my own wedding dress...
