Halloween is over and Autumn is in full swing. Which means it's bonfire night tomorrow and I can't wait. It's always fab when an event as such lands on the weekend- it means we can stay out longer watching the fireworks! The past month has been a busy, busy one for me. Editing my University paper is pretty tough, but at the same time, enjoyable. I have still managed to enjoy my beauty products and have picked out my top five.
Makeup Revolution Highlighter in Golden Lights | £3
This highlighter isn't strongly pigmented when picked up with a brush, but that's one of the reasons it's in my faves. If you place some Vaseline/ a cream highlighter, when you apply this over the top, it is glitter central. It is the right shade that will give a glow to anyone. The staying power is great, I used it for Halloween (the nice side of my face!) and it lasted all night.
Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette | £23
I'm pretty sure this was featured in a previous favourites (maybe more than once?!) but I have used it twice in the past week and rekindled my love for said palette. It has six shadows and you can mix and match to your hearts desire. I love the fact they are all matte too, the combination is endless.
Maybelline Color Show Khol Liner Ultra Black 100 | £2.99
I bought this before Halloween as I realised I left my (one of about nine) black eyeliner at home. It was the cheapest in Tesco so I just thought it would do the job. Did it?! I used it for my winged liner on one side and as long as you have a sharpener by your side, works like a dream!
Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation | £5.99
Have you seen the price of this beauty? Possibly one of the cheapest foundations I have held and the quality is brilliant. It's for normal-oily skin, perfect for me at this time of year. It is my go-to foundation at the moment (sorry Bourjois!) because it isn't heavy coverage which is what I like for everyday wear, but it is buildable.
Radox Feel Good Fragrance Nourish Shea Butter Shower Cream | £1
Does anyone else get excited when it comes to opening a new shower cream? I sure do. This one smells like my mum and it's a delicious cocobutterysmell! It it very moisturising which is the number one thing I look for in a body wash (especially a cream). 10/10!
