Apologies for no usual Friday blog post, I have been so busy at home spending time with loved ones and keeping on top of my Uni work, I totally forgot to publish it!
I recently popped into Superdrug for myself, yep, I was set out to buy a new mascara. I sadly avoid the likes of Superdrug and Boots these days, due to lack of funds, but when nature calls for a new mascara, it's an exception to take advantage of Superdrug's infamous 3-4-2. I picked up two more bits that day, one an essential, and one a treat.
L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Mascara Carbon Black | £10.99
A few years ago, I bought this mascara after watched Carlie Bybel exclaim it was her ultimate, go-to mascara. She wasn't wrong. When I was looking for a new mascara, I remembered how long it made my lashes. The tiny wand is long and thin and really allows me to get to the smaller lashes on the inside. I apply two coats of this, and as the colour is a real, strong black it looks amazing.
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipstick Seduction | £8.99
I fancied a new liquid lip product that was a nudey/ pink colour. I spotted the Revlon lipsticks and remembered being recommended one of these. I chose 'Seduction', which comes out a little more nude then pink, but it's a lovely colour nonetheless. It doesn't dry 100% matte, but it's so lightweight, I can over look that. I definitely want to get a vibrant red from this range.
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder Transparent | £3.99
This is the one makeup product I have had in my makeup bag since the obsession started. The powder lasts for months and I use it 1-2 times a day. I have a rather oily t-zone, so this is perfect to pop in my bag with a kabuki and use quickly when I desire. The best powder I have tried.
