I was thinking about doing a 2016 round up/ thoughts/ 2017 goals blog post but as per tradition, I'm doing my usual first blog post of the month is a favourites. Of course. But to see me into 2017, I have been writing a look back/ look forward post (as you can probably tell I haven't written it yet) and it will be up on Friday.
Moving onto my monthly faves. This month, I have five beauty products I have been using the most. There's nothing new as I have been scraping out my piggy bank as I come close to the end of my student loan (sighs). Bring on Tuesday.
Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation* | (£18)
I have featured this in another blog post and grabbed it for a change and rekindled my love for this foundation. Corrects? Why yes, it does. It does a brilliant job of evening out your skin and all the colours on my face, even those nasty little red pimples. Plus it gives that sun-kissed glow that is what I love in a foundation. It is a little bit more pricey for an everyday foundation
Witch Naturally Clear Overnight Clearing Serum | £5.99
This is the only spot cream I use because well, it's cheap and works wonders. I apply it all over my face before I go to bed if I see a blemish come through and in the morning, voila! It dramatically reduces my spot and prevents any more from creeping within. Thank you Witch, you have made life that little bit easier.
If you read my blog, I apologise for going on about this product but I just want to use it every single day. It is a high-end lipstick so I do have high expectations, and boy this lipstick just has it all. It's hydrating and is the most beautiful colour- nude with a hint of pink in it. These lipsticks make the perfect presents for the beauty-lover.
Leighton Denny Nail Miracle Mist | £12
I received this product in the M&S beauty calendar and it is amazing. It has changed my nail-painting routine. Changed it as in I don't have to walk around the house like Edward Scissor hands. It makes my nail varnish touch dry in seconds. Perfect for us busy gals.
Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss* | £9
Ah, the famous Mother Pucker. I received this from a brand rep in University last month and have fallen in love. It doesn't sting, just gives a mild tingling sensation I personally don't mind. The colour I have is Candy Queen and it a neutral pink that will surely go with most peoples skin tones.
What have you been loving this month?
