How I Change and Organise my Makeup Through Seasons

Like all other beauty hoarders, I keep my makeup products for a lot longer than I should. They easily get pushed back to the abyss that is the back of my makeup collection and then I feel bad for wasting money. So when it comes to a new season, I've decided to make sure I rotate my products to ensure I get the most use out of them. I regularly go through my collection and pick out products I have not used in a while and put back the products I have been loving (which also helps when it comes to finding my Monthly Faves).

For winter, I like to keep the foundation heavier than summer, but making sure I use a good moisturiser to keep hydrated. At the moment, I have been using Vichy Dermablend but I have in mind that I need to switch up soon, so I reached for L'Oreal True Match this morning and I love it.

This winter, I have been experimenting with blush, a product I rarely use but have a drawer full. The last couple of weeks I have been using either MAC Peachykeen or the Soap and Glory Love at First Blush but this morning, I swapped to the MUA Luxe Blush Shimmer Stick.

Lipsticks are the product I have most of and in winter, I love to use dark reds and purples (with the odd nude and pink thrown in, obviously). I have been keeping two in my everyday makeup bag; MAC Media and Revlon Colourburst in Illusive. I love experimenting with lipsticks in winter for everyday use, so I can make sure I'm getting the most out of my products and money.

If this sounds a lot like you and you need to rotate your collection, make a note in your diary to switch things up and you will soon be getting your moneys worth and rekindling your love for old products.

Do you have any winter product recommendations?
